The community. The atmosphere and the people are what make CrossFit what it is.

Anyone can do a CrossFit workout on their own, but when you have others to compete against and cheer you on, it takes you to a whole new level in bettering yourself. You have a community of people who genuinely care about you and want to see you improve just as much as they want to see their own improvements. The competitive aspect is another thing that drew me to CrossFit because as an athlete, competition has always driven me to work hard and to really give it my all. It brought me back to the days when I did play competitively and really fills a void that was missing after my pursuit of basketball at a higher level had ended.

A little about me...

I was always involved with sports growing up, almost any and every sport. Once I reached high school I decided to concentrate solely on basketball, where I went on to play at the collegiate level. I started weight lifting around the age of 13 and have continued working at the gym and fitness groups out ever since.
